Martine Center is a Winner of the Prestigious 2019 ACHCA Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award

Only Seven Percent of Skilled Nursing Facilities in this Country Qualify for this Award

- April 11, 2019

White Plains, NY/Bronx, NY—April 11, 2019—The Martine Center of Rehabilitation and Healthcare, a 200-bed skilled nursing facility and member of the Centers Health Care family, located on Tibbits Avenue in White Plains, New York, is a 2019 winner of the American College of Health Care Administrators Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award. This award, established in 2008 by the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA), is named after one of ACHCA’s most revered late leaders, Mr. Eli Pick, recognizes the administrators of top‐performing skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) achieving excellence well beyond the Five Star rating system. ACHCA commended the staff at Martine Center and its Administrator, Mr. Shragi Weisz, as winning this award is quite an achievement since only seven percent of Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF’s) qualify for this award.

“We are so proud of Shragi and his entire team at Martine Center,” said Kenny Rozenberg, Chief Executive Officer of Centers Health Care. “Martine Center is a place where residents are comfortable and there’s always something going for them. Whether you are there for state-of-the-art rehabilitation or you’re there for the long run, Shragi and his team make sure the facility if professionally run and the families and residents are happy. This award only proves that.”

According to the ACHCA, the criteria of this award are carefully reviewed and updated each year, to assure those top‐performing facilities are duly recognized and that the award continues to raise the bar for organizational performance. The ACHCA remains the only professional membership association devoted solely to connecting and enhancing the leadership of the Administrator in today’s long‐term care industry.
