Indian River Rehab is now Granville Center

The 120-bed Indian River Nursing Home Centers Health Care has been renamed Granville Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. 

The nursing home is owned by Centers Health Care, which owns more than 42 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout New York State, New Jersey and Rhode Island, including Washington Center in Argyle. Centers started consulting for Indian River in 2014.

Clinical services offered include cardiac therapy and surgery recovery,  comfort and palliative care, isolation rooms, physical therapy, respiratory management, speech therapy and stroke rehabilitation.

There will also be specialty programs, such as bariatric services, a cardiac recovery program, cardiac therapy, hip repair/replacement recovery program, joint replacement recovery program and stroke rehabilitation.

 

Renee M. Groesbeck, administrator of the facility said she expects the care and services provided will remain as they have been. Granville Center For Rehabilitation and Nursing. “It will be business as usual under a different name," she said in a press release.
