Indian River Community Outreach Liaison Loves Local Library

Granville, NY - January 12, 2016

Sheila Condelli is the community outreach liaison at our Indian River facility and every day she lives ‘Community Outreach.’ Among her recent endeavors, she has adopted the Fort Ann library as a special cause and volunteers her time to support their efforts. When asked why Sheila chose The Old Stone House Library in Fort Ann, she replied:

“The library is such an important part of our community. It’s a gathering place, it’s a place for the exchange of ideas, it’s a window into our past and into our future. It’s an integral part of our community, just as Indian River Rehab is and it’s a pleasure to be associated with both of these wonderful places.”

Built circa 1825 for Hiram Shipman, The Old Stone House Library has served the community as a public library since the early 1920s. Sheila is always ready to offer a helping hand to the staff there, as well as baking them delicious cookies and tasty treats. To show their gratitude, the Corresponding Secretary wrote a heartfelt letter to Indian River Center.
