A 90-year-old mother from Harlem has been visiting her disabled daughter at a Bronx home six days a week for the past 20 years.

Earnestine Vincent, 90, visits her daughter Denise Younger, 65, at the Beth Abraham Center on Allerton Avenue since she had a brain aneurysm and became disabled 23 years ago. Vincent commutes from Harlem to the Bronx.

"She has been by my side since I was born and through every struggle in my life. I can't think of a better person than my mother," Younger says.

Not only has Vincent come to be with and help her daughter, she also helps other residents inside of the building.

"I'm very proud of her. It gives me something to look forward to, something I can do with my life when I’m her age," Younger says.

Vincent says she doesn't plan on making any changes to her six-days-a-week visit.

When asked if she had any advice for people looking to build better relationships, she says keep people in your heart every day that you can because you never know when it's going to end.
