Centers Super Stock Racing Team is Back!

Centers Health Care is back at the racetrack again this summer, continuing to sponsor the Tim Gullo Super Stocks racing team! Our Buffalo, Corning, Ontario, Steuben, and Waterfront Centers are the main sponsors of the team this season. Stock car racing has become quite a popular sport in the region, and we love being able to take part in the festivities and show folks in the community another side of Centers. Last year, Tim and his partner Ray Marshall did fantastic, leading the way in points and first place finishes in feature races. This year, we hope that Tim and the team can clinch another victory, and we hope that our friends and family at Centers come out to the speedway to see it!
Last Friday night, June 3rd, our team took part in the NY Super Stock Race down at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, New York. We started out rough in 26th place, but managed to score a 3rd place finish that night! The following day, Saturday, June 4th, the team went to Lancaster Speedway in Lancaster, NY to run in the Big Ten Series. We won the heat race and placed 3rd in the feature race after suffering a flat tire on lap 12. We are so proud of Tim, Ray, and their Super Stocks Racing Team, and are excited to continue to support them during the rest of their season. What we love most about sponsoring the team is that it gives us the chance to attend the races with residents, colleagues, and friends, and allow everyone to experience the intense excitement at the finish line. It also gives us the opportunity to remind people that nursing homes aren’t always what you think.
If you would like to come out and cheer on the team, our next race is this Friday, June 10 at Chemung Speedway in Chemung, New York, where we will compete in the next New York Super Stock Race. The team is also participating in the Ferris Mowers Race of Champions Big 10 Super Stock Series race on Saturday, June 11th, at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania.
